On the early sweaty, rainy morning of Sept 6th, the 2 boys from LE BLORR, Cookie and Hot Damn rounded up some sweet lovin horses for some photographs.

It started 'pissin' down with big ol' fat rain just as we started shooting. It kinda felt nice since it was hot Florida heat on our backs.

Straight after the shoot, absolutely saturated......the 2 boys, our friend Jared and myself drove to New York.......24 hours to go boys.

(no animals were harmed during this shoot, I use shoot referring to photography, even though there were guns used.........could be confusing)

Peter Lindbergh

He is definitely one of my top 5 most impressionable, inspiring, influential photographers to date.
I've studied his work since I was 11! My sister had a slight obsession with all the 90's Supermodels- Cindy Crawford, Linda Evangelista, Helena Christensen, Karen Mulder, Claudia Schiffer........etc. April, (my sister) would quiz me on the models names and what magazine covers they were on or even what make-up brand they were contracted to. Those images were ingrained in my mind for years..........the ones that stood out the most to me were Lindbergh's black and whites.......




I just recently read Lindbergh has an exhibition coming up at C/O Berlin. He's showcasing 120 photographs and films from his classics and icons of fashion photography to his Vogue Berlin series of 2009.

Nixon Art Mosh in Chelsea

I got to go with my Florida peeps to this Amazing art show last night, Fri. Sept 17th.

Massive line-up outside, no one inside when we arrived, nor near the bar........ the work on display was mostly Photography so I had kittens somewhere between viewing Kassia Meador's work and skate photographer, Mike Blabac...........

BLORR in Jacksonville, FL

Sooooooooo I'm here in tropical Nth Florida hanging out with the 2 boys, (Chris + Adam) that make up Bastard Lovechild of Rock n Roll (aka BLORR).

I originally met the 2 piece band in Japan '09 and our friendship has blossomed into something magical and out of this world.

These photos were taken in Downtown Jacksonville, FL on Sept 1. It was dark and sweaty inside. No amount of air conditioning could cool off the crowd as they danced crazy over the boys sexual booty shakin' sounds.

This was the first show of many that I'll document traveling with the guys around Florida and then up to New York!!!!! Ahhhhhhhhhh stay tuned.......

California....I..I..Love you

Driving, partying, photographing, swimming, sunbaking, shopping, eating, meeting new friends in Los Angeles, San Francisco and San Diego was tremendous.

I didn't want to leave.....as I'm now in Florida (enjoying it thoroughly here too, don't get me wrong) but there's something in the air over on the west coast.........a buzz I long to feel again.......lucky I return in October yeeeew!
