Cabo San Lucas- Tan Caliente

I remember waking up for the first time in Cabo feeling pretty, pretty, pretty good.
Our hotel- The Playa Grande Resort was a mecca of mexican tile, sandstone, succulents, and pools that always served Happy Hour Piñas Coladas.¡Hola

Everyday it was around 36C and 100% humidity outside. We would wake up, walk down the street for some shrimp tacos then back to the pools to sun bake. We'd sit in the little shallow pools drinking our strong cocktails.
I knew it was time for a siesta every time I'd start concentrating on the Beach Boys blasting from my ipod rather then the book I was reading..... ahhhh the good life.

Cabo San Lucas- Llegadas

On August 31st 2012, I woke up somewhere in Venice Beach after a massive 1st night back in LA. Feeling extremely shady and definitely still drunk, I somehow pulled my shit together- repacked my suitcase, booked a cab and got my ass to LAX where I met my sister April at check-in.

We flew down to Cabo San Lucas.

It was our first time in Mexico and hot damm was it hot as all fuck outside, oh me oh my it was glorious!

First stop on the shuttle from Cabo airport to our Resort began with the liquor store. It was mandatory to drink beer on the bus, without vacilación about bad stomach feelings from post night's alcoholism- I skulled that mofo down.

Hola vacaciones!

Byron Baby Pt. 1- Lets Do This

The last week of November I flew up to Byron Bay for 5 days.
 It was bliss.
The weather was just the right temp to sweat it out beachside slicked up and thirsty for midday beers.

The day I arrived was a little tough, however.
I went out on a rampage the night before thinking-
"Yeah, I have the week off, I'm on holidays...I GOT THIS",
clearly I didn't "have it" as I spent the entire day spewing up as I tried (very) slowly to pack for my week in Byron.
I got to the airport around 3pm, and felt hungry- hallelujah.

I caught a little shuttle down to Byron, met up with my mates at Woody's Surf Shack and watched the latest Deus surf vid.

......great first night and the next day as follows......
